All Five Nights at Freddy's Character Locations in Fortnite Fortnitemares

Four Five Nights at Freddy's animatronics are roaming the Fortnite island during Fortnitemares: Freddy Fazbear and Foxy spawn at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, while Bonnie and Chica appear at random spots across the map. Each one is a boss you can defeat and then possess for a temporary boost. Here is where to find them and what you get for taking them down.

The island is big, and these characters are built to stand perfectly still and blend into their surroundings, so tracking them down takes some patience. They are only around for a limited time.

Freddy Fazbear

Freddy usually stands onstage at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, and this is always where he starts. Once players get near the building, he begins to wander, freezing in place only when someone looks at him.

That means you may have to search the location rather than simply walk up to the stage. Listen for footsteps while you explore. If he is in your line of sight and you don't notice him, he will be completely motionless and easy to miss, so scan carefully to avoid a jumpscare.

If he isn't at the pizzeria, another player has probably beaten you to him. Defeating any of the animatronics lets you become that character, which means their body goes wherever you do.

Foxy

Foxy also spawns at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and starts onstage. Like Freddy, he may wander off depending on what players nearby are doing. He always spawns at this spot, so the only reason he would be missing is that another player has already defeated and possessed him.

Bonnie

Bonnie has no fixed spawn point. He shows up randomly and can appear almost anywhere on the island. He works much like the main bosses from Chapter Seven, season four, so there is no way to guarantee he will turn up in any given match.

Chica

Chica doesn't have a set location either and can spawn anywhere. Your best approach is to explore as much of the map as you can and hope to run into her. Her bright yellow color makes her somewhat easier to spot than the others.

How to possess an animatronic

Defeat the animatronic in combat, walk up to its body, and hold the button that appears next to the "Possess" prompt. Your skin is replaced with theirs, and while you are in this temporary state you get 100 extra health and shields.

If you want to keep these looks permanently, the Five Nights at Freddy's bundle is available in the shop for a limited time. Other tasks are also running on the island, including collecting Power Ups, taking down Geno, and finding all Sprites.
