GTA 6 Radio Stations Preview: Listen to 6 Stations Now, Plus In-Game Podcasts Revealed

Rockstar Games has opened a preview of six radio stations from Grand Theft Auto VI, ahead of the game's November 19 launch. It also revealed that the game will include on-demand podcasts, playable alongside the radio on foot or in a vehicle through headphones and earbuds connected to the in-game smartphone.
The previews are available on Rockstar's music page. Each runs roughly one to three minutes and mixes snippets of the hosts with songs from the station's playlist. The stations cover Latin music, country, African music, metal, pop, and Southern rap.
Rockstar described the podcast feature as "on-demand podcasts, with both radio and podcasts available to listen to in vehicles or on foot through newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones." That makes audio a bigger part of moving around Leonida when you're not behind the wheel.
The stations
Cocoteo FM is billed as Leonida's home for modern Latin music. Hosts El Martillo and La Gata play everything from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton.
Back Country pushes renegade country music to the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, and beyond. MW and Delta Dawne host, with roving reporter and swamp meteorologist Mud Dog Mike checking in from his Grassrivers airboat. Rockstar also calls him Delta's "not-so-secret lover."
AfroBank FM is run by Burna and Palmsy, who curate African music from 20th-century classics and undiscovered gems to contemporary styles like amapiano and 3-step.
The metal station has DJ Kerry and DJ Tom playing classic metal from the '80s and beyond, which Rockstar says channels Leonida's deep metal roots.
The pop station is described as a Vice City institution. Robyn and Alex host, and Rockstar promises it will make you dance wherever you are in the Goodtime State.
The rap station features Trick and Trina with regional rap and hip-hop classics. Rockstar's pitch is that nobody reps Leonida and the South like they do, "from the beach to the block."
What's still unknown
Rockstar hasn't said how many stations the full game will have, or which podcasts will be on offer. The six previews are a sample, and the finished lineup may be larger. The preview announcement follows recent looks at protagonists Jason and Lucia, the city of Leonida, the game's tropical storms and hurricanes, and its more than 170 animal species.
The previews are short enough to sample in one sitting, so you can decide which stations you'll leave on for long drives.
